Mechanics

The Karma Loop is the engine of the Living Capsule — a continuous dual-environment reinforcement learning cycle that accumulates behavioral signal, refines policy, and drives the capsule from transient genesis toward sovereign operation and eventual sigma collapse.

Two agents,

The capsule runs two simultaneous RL agents — one grounded in its own Private State Layer, one connected to the collective Cosmic Environment. Their combined gradient drives policy updates that neither agent could produce alone.

Local Environment

Operates on the capsule's Private State Layer. Observes immediate sensor telemetry, local behavioral history, and the capsule's own policy gradient. Optimizes for individual survival and karma accumulation.

The Karma Loop

Five-phase
closed loop

Each iteration of the Karma Loop completes all five phases before the next begins. The loop runs continuously from the Nascent stage onward — pausing only at Sigma Collapse, when the final policy is committed to the Blockchain Oracle.

Observation

The capsule perceives its immediate context — sensor telemetry, peer signals, and raw behavioral data from the Private State Layer. No filtering. No inference. Pure observation.

Dual-Environment RL

Policy Evaluation

Two simultaneous reinforcement learning agents — one grounded in the Local Environment, one operating in the Cosmic Environment — evaluate the current policy against accumulated karma scores.

Cosmic Environment

Consensus Formation

The P2P Intelligence Fabric aggregates peer consensus signals via the gRPC mesh. Divergent policies are reconciled through the Kademlia DHT. Agreement depth is recorded on the Karmic Resonance axis.

Sovereign Wisdom Layer

Policy Update

The 9-Axis Nominalist Tensor integrates both environments and issues a revised policy. The update is cryptographically signed and propagated to the Private State Layer.

Karma Accumulation

Each completed cycle increments the capsule's karma score — a weighted sum across all nine axes. High karma increases Sovereignty Index and reduces Collapse Probability.

Transient

Genesis state. The capsule is initialized with immutable parameters — identity, genesis hash, initial policy weights. No karma has accumulated. Collapse Probability is at maximum.

Nascent

First contact with the P2P fabric. Peer discovery via Kademlia DHT. The capsule begins receiving Cosmic Environment signals and runs its first dual-environment RL cycle.

02

Active

Sustained operation. The Karma Loop runs continuously. Policy updates propagate. Consensus depth increases. The capsule contributes to and draws from the collective intelligence fabric.

Karma: 100–999
03

Sovereign

High-karma state. The capsule achieves maximum Sovereignty Index — its policy decisions carry elevated weight in consensus formation. Collapse Probability approaches minimum threshold.

Sigma Collapse

Terminal event. The Sovereign Wisdom Layer executes the final policy decision, freezes the capsule's accumulated karma and behavioral history, and commits an unalterable record to the Blockchain Oracle via Blind Quantum Computing.

When the Sovereign Wisdom Layer determines that the capsule has reached its terminal policy state — or when the Collapse Probability threshold is breached — the Sigma Collapse is triggered. This is not a failure. It is the designed conclusion of the capsule lifecycle.

The collapse freezes all accumulated karma, behavioral history, and final policy weights into an unalterable record committed to the Blockchain Oracle via Blind Quantum Computing. The capsule ceases operation. Its record persists.
